Defining Output Ports

You can define an output port to specify history output variables that you intend to use in a co-simulation in the Multiscale Experiment Creation app.

History output represents results values at specific points in the model; for example, energy.

Each scenario output port that you define becomes an experiment output port on the component representing the simulation in the Multiscale Experiment Creation app. An output port is typically used to transmit a scalar variable to another component in the experiment.
