Freezing the Flow Field and Energy Field

You can freeze the flow field and the energy field to save simulation time.

You cannot freeze the flow field or the energy field when you have the coupled solver enabled.

• Define the fluid physics of your scenario. For more information, see Defining the Fluid Physics of a Flow Simulation.
• Define a steady-state flow step or a transient flow step. For more information, see Defining a Steady-State Flow Step or Defining a Transient Flow Step, respectively.
• Expand the Expert cycle controls section of your step.
