Simulation verification ensures that the various simulation features you have defined—such as its finite element representation (mesh), materials, restraints, loads, etc.—are consistent and make sense. It also ensures you have included all required options and features; for example, making certain that you have defined material density when it is required by the step definition. This diagnostic information, including errors and warnings, can help you decide whether to continue and run the simulation or to go back and fix the modeling problems first. Performing a simulation check does not use any license tokens for the Abaqus solvers. |
