Model
Model simulation data defines the physical properties of a model that are relevant to the simulation. When you enter the model context, you can assign material definitions to parts and define additional features that enhance the existing geometry definition. For example, you can add simulation features such as connections and point masses. The model definition determines how the model reacts to the scenario that you apply.
Typical model context activities include:
- Assigning materials to the parts comprising the model
- Defining section properties (such as materials, shell thicknesses, or composite layups)
- Defining the meshing techniques and parameters
