Exporting Abaqus Substructures

You can export a finite element model representation that contains an Abaqus substructure into a Simpack flexible body input file (.fbi).

You can use a Simpack flexible body input file generated this way as input for modeling a linear flexible body in multibody dynamic analyses.

Before you begin: Create a substructure as a mesh part feature consisting of a single substructure element and select this mesh part.
