You can run a simulation with GPU acceleration for the following apps:
The specific licensing costs differ for different apps, but the general approach is the same. Adding one GPU to the simulation requires a certain number of tokens, and then each doubling of GPUs requires that number of tokens again. For example, if your licensing model requires five tokens for the first GPU, then two GPUs require 10 tokens, four GPUs require 15 tokens, and so on. When you run a simulation for a 3DEXPERIENCE app or for CST Studio Suite and use GPU acceleration, the licensing does not consider the number of streaming processors on the GPU core. The licensing cost is the same no matter how many streaming processors are available on a GPU core. |
