Interactions are step-dependent actions.

About Step-dependent Actions
Contact Detection
Identifies contacting surfaces and creates surface-based contact between them.
See Using Contact Detection.
Surface-based Contact
Specifies contact between two surfaces.
See Defining Surface-based Contact.
General Contact
Specifies the contact behavior between all components in a model.
See Defining General Contact.

Note: This option is not available in thermal simulations.

Contact Initialization
Adjusts general contact surfaces to remove small gaps or overlaps.
See Defining Contact Initialization.

Note: This option is not available in thermal simulations.

Flyout for Finding Disconnected Bodies

Show Disconnected Bodies
Highlights bodies that do not have any connections.
See Locating Disconnected Bodies.
Show Contacting Bodies
Highlights regions in a model where bodies come into contact but do not intersect or overlap.
See Locating Contacting Bodies.
Show Intersecting Bodies
Highlights regions in a model where bodies intersect or overlap.
