The temperature that you define for a geometry at the start of a simulation might change during the simulation because of loading or thermal effects. The default initial temperature applied to the whole model is 295 Kelvin. Any initial temperatures that you specify override the default initial temperature. For thermal simulations, you must apply an initial temperature across the whole model before you can run a simulation. For buckling, frequency, and structural simulations, you must apply an initial temperature if your model includes a temperature-dependent material. |
