Material Comparison

Comparing materials in the Material Palette enables you to choose the material that is more suitable for your simulation.

You can compare two to four materials by highlighting them anywhere in the Material Palette and clicking Compare . A new window appears that displays details for each material side by side. These details include PLM data like its type, classification, and creation and modification date. If any materials have simulation-related behaviors specified, the details include a subset of the simulation data as well.
