A mount or bushing allows you to:
- Provide an elastic connection between individual bodies.
- Absorb, reduce, or modify their vibrations.
- Model parallel stiffness and damping effects for each direction; you can specify these
either as constant stiffness or damping coefficients or as functions (including nonlinear
characteristics).
