You can use solution-dependent state variables and user subroutines UMAT and VUMATVUMAT to
control element deletion in a mesh. The Variable index controlling element
deletion parameter can be modified by any of the user subroutines in which state
variables are used, provided that the user subroutine is called at a material point.
You can edit the output keys or descriptions for the solution-dependent state variables you
use. The default output key identifier is SDVn, and
the default description is Solution-dependent state variables.
