About Body Charges

Body charges are electric charges distributed on a part.

A body charge consists of a part and a charge magnitude applied on the part. The body charge magnitude is applied to the part at every node on the underlying piezoelectric mesh elements.

You can define a uniform body charge, where one value is used throughout the part. Alternatively, you can use mapped spatial data to use a mapping table that defines the value at each location. You can include a separate value for the body charge in areas outside the mapped region.
