About Durability Analysis Cases

If you have the appropriate role, you can create a durability analysis case in your simulation as the first step in defining a durability analysis. The durability analysis case can be used as a container for the fatigue history and surface finish settings you specify. When you create a durability analysis case, the app automatically creates a durability step as well.

As you work in the scenario app, any new features you create are added to the currently active analysis case. Features cannot be shared between different analysis cases.

The active analysis case is shown in the selector in the work area:

When you run the simulation, you can run both the structural analysis case and the durability analysis case in sequence.
