About Power Spectral Density (PSD) Profiles
  1. From the Setup section of the action bar, click Power Spectral Density .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
  3. Specify the type of Loading:
    OptionDescription
Acceleration in g PSD profile to be used for gravity acceleration loads. By default, g=9.80665 m/s2. When you select this loading type, the app uses g2/Hz for both real and imaginary values, even if you enter a different unit. If you want to specify a different unit, use the Acceleration option.
AccelerationPSD profile to be used for acceleration loads. You can also use this loading profile for gravity acceleration loads that are not expressed in g2/Hz.
ForcePSD profile to be used for force loads.
PressurePSD profile to be used for pressure loads.
  4. In the data table, enter the Frequency values and their associated Real and Imaginary magnitudes.
  5. Click OK.
