Customizing Preferences

You can customize preferences for Simulation Manager.

  1. From the menu at the upper-right corner, click Preferences.
  2. Choose your settings for the following preferences:

    Preference Description
    Platform

    The platform to be used to host your data. The default value is the platform used by the 3DEXPERIENCE dashboard.

    Credentials

    Credentials are a combination of your collaborative space, access role, and organization. These define your ability to access content within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
    License Model

    The type of licensing scheme used to run your job.

    For Abaqus simulations, you can choose between Compute tokens and credits or SimUnit tokens and credits. For all other simulations, you can use only SimUnit tokens and credits.

  3. Click Save.
