Creating a Wave6 Simulation

You can upload a .w6 file to a simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Simulation Manager.

Before you begin: Create a Wave6 model.

  1. From the toolbar in the simulations panel, click Create Simulation .
  2. Select wave6 as the simulation Type.
  3. Enter a descriptive Title for the simulation.
  4. Enter a Description for the simulation.
  5. Click Ok.
    The new simulation appears in the simulations panel and is selected automatically.
  6. In the simulation details panel, click the Content tab.
  7. Upload your .w6 file by dragging the file into the Content tab or by clicking Upload.
  8. Upload any other files, such as a .bdf files, that are referenced by the .w6 file.
