Physics Simulation Objects

The database stores data for a simulation as a physics simulation object.

The physics simulation object contains the product being simulated, as well as all the simulation data specified or created in the definition and execution of the simulation.

You can choose to save the results of the Abaqus/CAE analysis in the form of a physics simulation object. You can use the following 3DEXPERIENCE apps to view a physics simulation object and the results data it contains:

  • 3DPlay: A lightweight, browser-based viewer that allows you to manipulate and animate the model and the results of a simulation.

3DPlay is supported on touch devices and nontouch devices.

  • Physics Simulation Review: A lightweight, browser-based simulation viewer that allows you to review the mesh, material, analysis steps, and results through each stage of a physics simulation from model setup and scenario to results.

Physics Simulation Review is supported on touch devices and nontouch devices.

  • Physics Results Explorer: A sophisticated, high-performance simulation viewer.

Physics Results Explorer uses parallel processing to take advantage of high-performance, multicore systems and enables you to process the results of large realistic finite element simulations.

  • Relations: An app that allows you to explore the relationships between objects on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform using a graphical interface.
