Running Physics Methods Reuse

You can run Physics Methods Reuse to create a simulation using custom methods and actions.

Before you begin: You must create and deploy one or more custom methods. If no custom methods are found, the app indicates that there are no methods and then closes.
  1. Log in to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform with the Leader role.
  2. From the Compass, click Physics Methods Reuse.
    The Methods dialog box displays.
  3. Select the method you would like to use in your simulation.

    The Simulation Methods Developer can create multiple index files, including custom methods for different projects.

  4. Click OK.

The Author Assistantdialog box shows the required steps and the options available.

Note: The app-specific action bar sections (Restraints, Loads, etc.) do not exist in Physics Methods Reuse. All the tools you can use are in the Author Assistant.
