Creating a New Activity from a Simulation Template

You can instantiate a template of a simulation activity to create a new activity and add it to your process.

Simulation templates let you capture and reuse best practices in simulation processes.

Before you begin: You can create a simulation template from Process Experience Studio. You can also use simulation templates that are included with Process Composer for Dashboard.

From the Flow section of the action bar, click Instantiate Activity Template and drop it on the process diagram.
3DSearch opens and automatically filters on one-click activity templates in your collaborative space.
From 3DSearch, select a one-click activity template.
Review the settings of the template, and click Done.

The template instantiates, creating a new activity and adding it to the process.
