Configuring the Step Execution Options

You can configure step execution options such as skipping execution, pausing execution, and setting the maximum run time.

  1. Select the step whose execution options you want to edit, and select Step Options from the context menu.
  2. From the Step Options dialog box, click the Execution tab.
  3. Set the following execution options:
    OptionDescription
    Skip this Step Select this option if you do not want to run this step.
    Pause Specify if you want to pause execution Before or After this step. The step appears in the list of simulation tasks to allow you to continue execution.
    Maximum Run Time

    Enter the amount of time you want this activity to run before the step is considered to have failed. This option prevents a step from running indefinitely.

  4. Click Ok.
