Creating Approximation Tables

You can use Visual Analytics to create an approximation table to display the measures and errors for an approximation.

Before you begin: Create an approximation. For more information, see Approximations.

  1. From the visualization controls in the upper right of the Visual Analytics canvas, click New Visualization .
  2. Select Approximation Table.
  3. Enter a Title and Description.

    The title appears on the visualization when it is added to the canvas.

  4. Select an Approximation.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Click Create and Close to create the new visualization and to return to the canvas.
    • Click Create to create the new visualization and to keep the new visualization window open.
