Creating Folders for a Simulation Process

While categories can contain content items directly, you can create folders to provide a lower level of data organization within categories. For example, you can create a Materials folder within the Specifications category to store all the files that define material behavior. Folders can be created directly inside a category, or you can create a folder inside an existing folder (subfolders).

You can define an impact attribute for a folder to designate that all of its content is input to either the simulation process or the activity. Similarly, you can designate that all of its content is output from the simulation process or the activity, or is both input and output. Any impact on a category or a parent folder controls the impact setting for the folder and all of its content.
