  1. From the Applications section of the action bar, click CST and drop it on the process diagram.
  2. Double-click CST .
  3. From the CST editor that appears, select the Execute tab.
  4. Do either of the following to select the object to simulate:
    • Select Content, and select the CST model to include in the CST simulation.
    • Select Parameter, and choose an object parameter representing the CST model to include in the CST simulation or create a new CST model parameter.
  5. Select Save simulation after run to save the CST model after it runs.

To avoid conflicts from multiple concurrent save operations, clear this option if you are running the CST simulation in parallel on multiple 3DOrchestrate Stations. Saving the simulation after each run decreases performance because of the time taken to save the data on the server.

  6. Enter the version of CST to run.

The simulation job will run only on a station that has the selected version of CST installed.

  7. Click OK to save your changes and to close the CST editor.
