Open the simulation process that will contain the object.

From the process details box, click Content
 .
The Content panel appears. -
Select the category or folder where you want to store the object, and click
 .
- Locate the object.
- Optional: Click in the Download cell to create a download rule.
If you select Download, the file is downloaded to the working directory at runtime. -
Choose an option from the Impact column to define whether the data should be considered as either input or output to the simulation process (or neither or both).
The impact attribute determines when a simulation process is out of date regarding the
data that it uses (since the data can be modified externally in some way). For example, if
the data change that are considered input to a process, the process is shown as out of
data and must be executed again to generate new output data. - Optional: Enter a Description.
- Click Close to exit the Content panel.
