Displaying Free Body Information

You can integrate the total force and moment values at a cut plane and display this free body information.

About Plot Sectioning
  1. From the context toolbar, click to edit the view cut.
    The Plot Sectioning dialog box appears.
  2. Expand Cut Options.
  3. Select Show free body values to enable the resultant force and moment in the display.
  4. Select the Free Body Orientation.
    OptionDescription
    Normal Force and moment components are resolved normal and tangential to the plane.
    Global Force and moment components are resolved with the global coordinate system.
    Resultant Resultant vectors for force and moment are displayed.
  5. Select Show forces to switch the display of the force vector.
  6. Select Show moments to switch the display of the moments.
  7. Select Show nodal forces for computation to switch the display of the nodal forces.

When you drag an axis of the robot, the model updates the Plot Sectioning cuts display showing the current forces and moments for each cut.
