Linking and Unlinking Test Specifications

You can link and unlink existing test specifications from a selected test specification. Linked test specifications do not represent a hierarchy; the links are visual groupings only, and do not determine a prerequisite or dependent status.

Link Test Specifications

You can link test specifications to one another to access their test cases and create dependencies between test specifications and their test cases.

  1. From the Review pane, select the test specification.
  2. Select Link Test Specification.
  3. Select one or more test specifications.

Validation and Verification Strategy adds the selected test specifications to the tree in the Review pane.

Unlink Test Specifications

You can unlink a test specification when it is no longer required.

  1. From the Review pane, select the test specification.
  2. Click Unlink Test Specification.

Validation and Verification Strategy unlinks the selected test specification from the tree in the Review pane.
