Request Contact Output

Create a field output request for the contact pressure and a history output request for the reaction force at the distributed coupling. You will also study history output of the contact energy variables for the whole model; however, the output request is created by default when you create a step and configure the simulation.

  1. From the tree, edit the first output request (the default field output request) and request additional output of contact pressure and frictional shear stresses due to edge-to-surface contact constraints (CSTRESSETOS).
  2. Review the second output request (the default history output request); history output of the contact energy variables for the whole model is requested by default.
  3. Create a third output request, and request history output of the reaction force in the x-direction.

    Select the distributed coupling as the support for the output request.
