Viewing Design Details in X-CAD Design Management

This task shows you how to view the CAD Portal view of a design in X-CAD Design Management from Solid Edge.

The 3DEXPERIENCE > Explore menu is available from SolidEdge or upon right-click in 3DEXPERIENCE Open or 3DEXPERIENCE Insert dialog box.

Before you begin: The design must exist in 3DEXPERIENCE database.

  1. Click 3DEXPERIENCE > Explore from SolidEdge toolbar if the design is active in Solid Edge or search for the design in 3DEXPERIENCE Open or 3DEXPERIENCE Insert dialog box. For details on searching for designs in ENOVIA from Solid Edge, see Searching Designs.

    Note: Only one design must be selected in 3DEXPERIENCE Open dialog box.

  2. Right-click the design and select Explore

    Note: If no user is logged in the browser, then the Login page opens. The Details page opens if you are already logged in.
