About Tabs Controlled by Attributes

You can control the visibility of tabs on a card by using attributes that determine when the tabs are visible or who may view the tabs.

When you use attributes to control the visibility of tabs on a card, you can have multiple layouts that depend on what is selected in the card.

Use attributes to control tab visibility to:

  • Link tabs to the attributes used in another control on the card.

For example, a folder card could be linked to the $$owner$$, which is the attribute for an edit box on the card.

  • Link tabs to users on a specific project, using the Project Name attribute.
