Object Attribute Transfer For EBOMTo have a selective object attribute transfer from CAD Model to Part for EBOM:
    1. Click Click Here.
    2. From the Attribute Transfer dialog box:
      • In From Type, enter a valid integration type, for example, SW Component.
      • In From Attribute, enter a valid ENOVIA attribute, for example, Design Purchase.
      • From To Type, click Search and from the Select Type dialog box select an Engineering part type.
      • In To Attribute, enter the name of the attribute of the Engineering part, for example, Design Purchase.
      • To add the specified mapping for the attribute, click Add Column and enter the specified mapping, for example, SW Component|Design Purchase|Part|Design Purchase .
Note: The system displays an error message if the mapping is invalid.
      • Click Done
Relationship Attribute Transfer For EBOMTo set selective relationship attribute transfers from CAD Model to Part during EBOM:
    1. Click Click Here.

Note: The system displays and error message if the mapping is invalid.
      • Click Done.

  7. To select the output generation for design models on check in, from Derived Output Generation, select from these check boxes:

    OptionDescription
Automatic As the system checks in each file, it creates output files for each format you select. The check in does not complete until your system creates all derived output files for all files in the check in.
Note: Connector for SOLIDWORKS only supports this option for cgr, image.jpg, pdf, and png.
BackgroundAs the system checks in the files, it sends a request to the dedicated output generator system to create the derived output as a background process. The check in completes before the output is created but the files remain locked until the dedicated generator completes the derived output request.
Tip: This option is available for other format types that are unsupported within Connector for SOLIDWORKS provided your administrator has done the necessary setup for these types.

Clearing all check boxes for a format type results in the system performing check in without any derived output for that format type.

Connector for SOLIDWORKS does not support manual derived output generation.

  8. To see the policy settings for the CAD types set by the administrator, review the Default Type Policy Settings.

The administrator can enforce or default a policy for a particular Type.

  9. To set the default table for the system to apply to X-CAD Design Management pages, select for each option one of the following:
    • Default
    • Admin:SLWOpenPageDetails
    • Admin:SLWSavePageDetails
  10. To select the default webform the system applies to the Open and Properties pages in X-CAD Design Management, select for Properties and for Search, either:
    • SLWObjectProperties
    • SLWSearchForm
  11. Click Update.
  12. To make your Preference selections active in Connector for SOLIDWORKS, you must log out of Connector for SOLIDWORKS and re-login into Connector for SOLIDWORKS as follows:
    1. Close X-CAD Design Management.
    2. From the task bar in Connector for SOLIDWORKS, click 3DEXPERIENCE and click Exit.
    3. Log in again to Connector for SOLIDWORKS.
