Support for retrieving As Saved structure

The Lateral View menu is also added in the Check Out dialog box. The Lateral View menu has the following options:

As Saved - Provides the structure that was last saved from the assembly down within that assembly’s revision stream.

Referenced iteration - Use this option to retrieve all the objects that are connected to the selected file at the time of check in. This option shows the physically connected structure. The option works within the same revision of all items in the given structure. Therefore, it displays the latest iteration within the selected revision. Check in and modification by all users results in As-Built view.

Referenced Iteration when performing on an older Iteration: If the Get operation is initiated from an older iteration of a parent design and you apply "Referenced Iteration" view then, the retrieved structure displays the iteration of child designs that are connected to this iteration of parent design at the time of check-in resulting in As-Saved view.

Latest iteration - Provides the latest revision and iteration from the assembly selected down. This option considers the latest of everything outside the selected assembly’s revision stream.

Latest released revision - Provides the “As Released" for the assembly’s revision that is selected.

A new Iter (Iteration) column is added to the Check Out dialog box to display the iteration of the retrieved file.

In the Check Out, Get Iteration, and Get Latest Iteration dialog boxes, when a view, other than the default is selected and executed, that view is set as the default view for subsequent actions until another view is selected and executed. For example, Check Out Referenced Iteration defaults to the Latest Iteration view. When the As Saved option is selected and a check out is done, the As Saved option is selected by default in subsequent checkouts until a new view is selected and executed.

- If the filter selection is Latest released revision, then that selection will not be saved and default to the one used previously

- If the filter default is changed, single file actions will still perform the default:

• Check Out: Latest Iteration
• Get Iteration: Value selected
• Get Latest Iteration: Latest Iteration

You need to add a registry setting to control the view at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dassault Systemes\SolidWorksPDM\RefDlg of Type String as SilentGetDefaultView = As-Saved

Value	Meaning
No Registry key exists	Retrieve latest iteration of latest revision of parts and subassemblies that do not already exist on the local disk in the target location Existing files are skipped
As-Saved	Always retrieve the as-saved version of parts and subassemblies as long as they aren't locked/checked out. If there is another iteration on the local disk, it will be replaced. Locked/checked out files will not be overwritten.
