Using
Connector for SOLIDWORKS, you can
-
Access to 3DEXPERIENCE capabilities within the SOLIDWORKS user interface thereby enabling you
to access, manage, share, and store CAD design data
effortlessly, without leaving their preferred environment.
- Open Windows Explorer to a local view of the database. This view shows the workspaces
and folders you have access to and also provides My Work, a
directory where you can add links to designs to create your own workspace. From Windows
Explorer, you can view design properties, preview designs, search, see references
contained in a design, and see where a design is use
- Connect to the database using the X-CAD Design Management predefined access setup. You can get and check out designs and associated drawings to your local drives. After you make your desired
modifications, you use X-CAD Design Management to save changes in the 3DEXPERIENCE database by releasing and checking the files back in.
