Often when you run a command, the resulting dialog box includes a long list of files with multiple warnings and informational messages. You can quickly navigate the messages using toolbar commands.
Before you begin: Initiate a Baseline, Check In, Check Out, Copy Structure, Get Iteration, Promote, Send To, or Undo Check command that includes files that cause a warning or informational messages.
Note:
The toolbar commands for navigating through messages only appear when some of applicable files in the dialog box have informational or warning messages.
To navigate from message to message, from the dialog box toolbar:
Click Next Warning to move to the next file with a message.
Click Previous Warning to move to the previous file with a message.
To navigate to a specific type of message in the list when there are multiple warning types:
From the dialog box toolbar, click Navigate all warning types
From the list, select the warning type message that you want to navigate.
For example, suppose you do a check in that results in blocking and warning messages. You want only to look at the blocking messages. From the toolbar,
Click Navigate all warning types.
