To filter the search, choose from the following:
Option | Description |
---|
* |
To find all files with a specific string, use the asterisk
(*) with the string. If the asterisk (*) is only in front, then the search
results only match the string at the end. If the asterisk (*) is only at the
end, the results only match the string at the beginning. If the asterisk is in
between letters, then the order of the string match the results. |
---|
? |
To locate files with specific string plus exactly one
additional character, use the question mark (?) with the string, for example,
123?. |
---|
" " |
To locate a file with the exact file name, use the quotes
(" ") surrounding the full file name (including the extension), for example,
"123.sldprt". |
---|
= |
To locate the exact match for a file name, you can instead
use the equal sign (=), for example,
=123.sldprt. The results are the same as
using " ". |
---|
Note:
If you are searching using the Title option, the file extension
is considered for all files. For example, File 123.sldprt ends with prt and not
the number 3.
-
To execute the search, click
Search
in the
Search tab.
Search results are displayed in a
Search
