The Resource Generator is launched via the LegacyCustoGenerator application. It takes V5 metadata files as input and produces the required 3DEXPERIENCE customized model, xml mapping files and other resource files to configure a connector for use in a coexistence or migration scenario. It generates V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE files in their respective locations i.e. the V5 server and the 3DEXPERIENCE client.
