About Geometric Relationships

When drawing new elements, geometric relationships with existing geometry, such as coincidence and perpendicularity, are detected. These relationships act as snap positions and help you position new geometry.

As you move the pointer around your drawing, the app detects geometric relationships with existing geometry in the vicinity of the pointer.

These geometric relationships are indicated by a range of blue symbols. They act as snap positions for the pointer and help you to position your new geometry with respect to existing geometry.

  • Coincidence
  • Intersection
  • Parallelism
  • Perpendicularity
  • Verticality
  • Horizontality

The example below shows you perpendicularity and parallelism.
