Saving as DXF

You can save a geometry as a DXF document.

Before you begin: Create a geometry.
  1. From the Model section of the action bar, click Create Dxf file .
  2. Modify the Dxf Tolerance.

The tolerance is used to compute circles and lines. The thinner the tolerance is, the better circles and lines are represented in the drawing.

  3. Select the reference skin.
  4. Click Validate to save the geometry as a DXF file.
  5. From the Save the Dxf file dialog box, browse to the folder in which you want to save the DXF file.
  6. Enter a file name.
  7. Click OK to save the file.
Tip: You can create the Dxf file by pressing Alt+D.
