Creating Circular Cutouts

Circular Cutout lets you create circular cutouts that is, thickening the profile normal to a wall or a bend. You can create cutouts from one or more points, sketches, on bends, mapped curves and projections, and on unfolded shapes.

  1. Select the point or the sketch as the center of the circular cutout.
    Tips:
    • The point can be selected anywhere in the geometry. In that case, an orthogonal projection will be performed.
    • You can also click the surface to create a point directly under the pointer.
    • To clear a point, click it in the tree.
  2. To position the circular cutout, select the support.

The support can be different from the support where the point lies. In that case, an orthogonal projection is performed.

  3. In the Diameter box, enter a value.
