Mapping Elements

Point or Curve Mapping lets you map curves or points onto a Sheet Metal 3D shape, and fold or unfold it.

Before you begin: Create a wall and a wall on edge. Sketch a profile on the wall on edge.
  1. Select the profile.
    The curve mapping is previewed as if the supporting walls were unfolded.

  2. Select a wall as the support.

    The support is the element of the 3D shape on which the curve should be generated when folding or unfolding. You can select several support elements.

  3. From the standard area of the action bar, click Fold/Unfold .
