Mirroring

Mirror lets you mirror a feature (that is a hole, a cutout, a flange, a stamp - except stiffening ribs, a pattern or another mirror), or a 3D shape.

Before you begin: Create a 3D shape and a cutout. Make sure the feature to mirror lies on a unique and planar wall.
  1. Select the feature to mirror.
  2. Select the plane.
    The selected plane and a preview of the cutout to be mirrored appear.

    Important:
    • If you create a mirror of a flange, the result of the mirror must lie on an edge.
    • If you create a mirror of a stamp impacting several supports, you can no longer design any other feature on it.
    • You can define tear faces when the mirroring process implies a connection of the result.
