Creating Bridges

You can create bridges by specifying punch geometrical parameters.

Before you begin: Create a wall.
  1. From the Refine section of the action bar, click Bridge .
  2. Select the surface.
  3. To position the bridge, select a point on the top face.
  4. To indicate the direction of the bridge, select an edge.
  5. Define the following parameters:

    Length Maximum length
    Width Maximum width
    Angle Draft angle
    Fillet radius Outer bend radius
    Punch radius Inner bend radius
  6. To create a relief under the bridge, select one of the Relieves options and enter values in the L1 and L2 boxes.

  7. To visualize the bridge, click Preview.


  8. Optional: To create the bridge without a fillet, enter 0 as the radius value.
