Browsing the Sheet Metal Catalog

You can browse the Sheet Metal catalog. The catalog lets you store available profiles, and provides a method to position the profile in the part.

Before you begin: For more information about catalogs, see Design IP Classification User's Guide.
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Catalog Browser .
    Tip: If no catalog appears in the dialog box, click More... to open the Object Selection dialog box and then select a catalog or a chapter.
  2. Select a profile.
  3. Click OK.
    The Insert Object dialog box appears.
  4. To insert the chosen profile, select the inputs on the geometry.
  5. Click OK to insert the profile.
    Tip: You can change the dimensions of the profile inserted by editing its parameters. To do so, double-click it in the tree. The Edit Parameters dialog box appears.
