Adding Components to a Catalog

You can create a catalog using the Design IP Classification app.

  1. In the top bar, select Add > Content.
  2. In the New Content dialog box, select Catalog.
    The catalog is created.
  3. To rename the catalog:
    1. Right-click the catalog and select Properties.
    2. In the Properties dialog box, enter a new name.
    3. Click OK.
    The catalog is renamed.
  4. Insert a chapter:
    1. Right-click the catalog and select Insert > New Chapter.
    2. In the Catalog Chapter dialog box, enter a name.
      Note: Ensure that the name of the chapter corresponds exactly with the name of the appropriate part subtype.
    3. Click OK.
    The chapter is created under the catalog.
  5. Repeat the previous step until your catalog and its structure of chapters and subchapters is finished.
  6. To use the catalog during the design process, you must:
    1. Add keywords to the catalog.
    2. Add components to the catalog.
    3. Bind the resource table to your project.
