Configuring RAMS and APQP Core Tools

You can configure the patterns used to display occurrences in the Structure Tree and configure the partners URL.

Configuring Structure Tree Patterns

You can identify your components in your system, this means that you can associate an identifier with an occurrence instead of referring to the occurrence as a path of instances. You can configure the patterns to be used in the Structure Tree and in the tables.

  1. Open the Collaborative Spaces Configuration Center widget. For more information, see Widgets to Configure Content and Business Rules.
  2. In the menu in the left pane, click RAMS and APQP Core Tools.
  3. Expand the Structure Tree Patterns section. The patterns table appears.
  4. Click the Add Pattern icon.
  5. In the Type field, enter the name of a PLM type or a subset of a type name. For example, enter log.
    A list displays all the type names, which correspond to the entry.
  6. Select a type name.
  7. In the Pattern field, enter a prefix pattern following the suggestion.
  8. Click Add.
    The types and their patterns appear in the table.
  9. In the table, click Apply.

Configuring Partners URL

You can configure for each partner name, a URL indicating the root location of the modules called by the templates.

  1. Open the Collaborative Spaces Configuration Center widget. For more information, see Widgets to Configure Content and Business Rules.
  2. In the menu in the left pane, click RAMS and APQP Core Tools.
  3. Expand the Partners URL section.
    The patterns table appears.
  4. Click the Add Partner icon.
  5. In the Partner Name field, enter a name.
  6. In the URL field, enter the root location of the modules.
  7. Click Add.
    The partners and their module URLs appear in the table.
  8. In the table, click Apply.

For example, if the Partner Name is PARTNER and the associated URL is http://partnerServer/webapps, you can enter the following code to access the MyModule.js module: PARTNER/MyApp/MyModule in the template.
