Specifying the Top and Bottom Faces of Design Space References

Click Top and Bottom Faces .
In the Top and Bottom Faces panel,
1. Under the Design Space References area, select the space references.
  
  Tip: You can select a physical product to select all design space references available under it.
2. Under the Floor Surfaces area, select the surfaces.
  Notes:
  - You can select 2D features such as surfaces, planes, cutting elements, and so on.
  - The selected surface must be in contact with the face of the space reference.
    
    : Top surface
    
    : Space reference
    
    : Bottom surface
  - Only the face that is in contact with the surface is considered as the bottom or top face of the space.
    
    : Design space reference
    
    : Surfaces
    
    : Bottom face
    
    : Top face
Click Apply.
- The surfaces are set as top and bottom surfaces to the corresponding space references, and are listed in the Top Surfaces and Bottom Surfaces columns.
- The top and bottom surfaces are saved as attributes in the space reference and are used to recognize the top and bottom faces of the space reference.
