Finding Spaces Containing an Object

You can find spaces containing a given object and as per the required criteria.

Before you begin: Create spaces in the Space Allocation app.
  1. From the Filter section of the action bar, click Containing Spaces .
  2. Select a 3D part.
  3. From the Criteria list, select one of the following options:
    • Fully in: Finds the spaces that contain a given object.
    • Partly in: Finds the spaces that contain a given object and the object available on its boundary.
  4. Specify the type of space references.
  5. Click Find.
    The Result area displays all spaces containing the selected object and as per the specified criteria. It also shows the number of selected spaces out of the total spaces.
  6. Optional: Click Floating Spreadsheet to display an object and edit its content in the same tab as your structure.

  7. Optional: Click Sheet Editor to view and edit the properties of multiple objects in a spreadsheet view.

  8. Optional: To focus on a space, click Center tree or Reframe On.
