Creating a Space Ref Point

Create Space Ref Point creates a point using three reference planes perpendicular to each other.

  1. In the Space Ref Point panel, select three reference planes perpendicular to each other, using either of the following ways:
    • Select planes in the 3D area.
    • Click to open the Reference Planes Browser and then select planes in it.
  2. Optional: Select the required row and click to switch the side (orientation) of the plane.
  3. Optional: Enter the required offset value from each plane.
  4. Optional: Select the Associative with reference planes check box to make the point associative with the reference planes.
    Important: While editing the non-associative point, the planes closest to the point and the corresponding offset values are retrieved and displayed in the panel. Therefore, the planes and the offset values might differ from the ones used while creation.
