  1. From the Operations section of the action bar, click Edit Planes .
The reference plane system appears in the edition mode.

  2. Select the required reference plane in the 3D area.
    A context toolbar appears.

  3. In the context toolbar, click Edit GridSet .
The Edit GridSet dialog box appears.

The Grid Set displays the direction of the selected reference plane. The dialog box also displays the prefix and orientation for the selected direction of the reference plane system.

  4. In the Prefix box, enter the required prefix.
  5. In the Orientation list, select the required orientation.

    The available orientations are:

    • Normal
    • Invert
    • Centripetal (only available for symmetric plane set)
    • Centrifugal (only available for symmetric plane set)

The preview of the modified orientation is displayed.

Tip: You can also change the orientation of the grid set by clicking the arrow.
  6. Click OK.
The prefix and orientation of the reference plane system is modified. The modified prefix is reflected in the tree.

Important: When you double-click a grid set or a grid subset in the tree, the Edit GridSet dialog box appears. You can modify the prefix and orientation. If the dialog box does not appear, you need to upgrade the project data.
