  1. From the Compass, drag the Business Value Definition app to your dashboard.
  2. Drag an entity to the app.
  3. To manage events related to metrics anticipation, select the Anticipate tab .

You can manage events related to metrics evolution which can be defined as follows:

    • An evolution affecting a metric on a particular date in a negative manner.
    • An evolution affecting a metric on a particular date in a positive manner.

A graph only appears when an anticipation has been written. It displays several lines, each line corresponding to a metric whose name is on the left. A time scale is at the top of the graph starting from the current date. Green bubbles on the line stand for an opportunity and red bubbles denote a risk.

The aggregated states are displayed below the metric name, with:

    • A green thumb for Complete.
    • A red thumb for Implemented.
    • A red exclamation mark for Pending. A metrics evolution, the implementation date of which has passed, is considered as a pending action.

The chart can be zoomed in/out and also scrolled to previous or further dates.

  4. To get information about a metrics evolution, click the respective bubble on the metric line or the icon under the metric name.

A panel appears under the bubble or icon, displaying the exact date of the event, its current state in a list and a value with unit. You can change the maturity date in the list.

Note: You cannot change the state of an existing ENOVIA metrics evolution as the maturity state is governed by ENOVIA apps.
  5. To add a metrics evolution, do one of the following:
    • Fill in the following parameters:
      • Name: Of the metrics evolution
      • Type: Metrics evolution
      • Responsible: The person or user group responsible for the metrics evolution (used during escalation).
      • Collateral people: The person or group who are affected by the metric evolution (used during escalation).
      • Implementation date: The date to implement the metric anticipation.
      • Comments: The description or comments related to the metrics evolution.
      • KPIs impacted: The list of metrics getting impacted due to the evolution along with the value and confidence.

All but Collateral People and Comments are mandatory.

    • Attach the metric to the ENOVIA metrics anticipation:

ENOVIA metrics anticipation can be searched with their name and added to timeline. An ENOVIA metrics anticipation cannot be modified and can only be added directly to the timeline. Each ENOVIA metrics anticipation is governed by the ENOVIA lifecycle.

Note: To assess the risks or opportunities on the environmental footprint metric in the future, switch to the assessment app.
