Using Design with SOLIDWORKS, you (designer) can:
- Access to 3DEXPERIENCE capabilities within the SOLIDWORKS user
interface. You can search, navigate, share, and store CAD design data
effortlessly without leaving your preferred environment.
- Store their native SOLIDWORKS data in 3DEXPERIENCE. You can create assemblies, parts, and
drawings in 3DEXPERIENCE using a unified data model. The data
created in SOLIDWORKS can be authored only in SOLIDWORKS, but can be opened
for review in 2D and 3D 3DEXPERIENCE widgets and CATIA.
- Manage concurrent engineering and collaborative operations on SOLIDWORKS
native data: reserve, revise, manage lifecycle maturity status.
- Use the 3DSearch, Product Explorer, Relations, Bookmark Editor, Collaborative Tasks from SOLIDWORKS Desktop or access 3DEXPERIENCE
dashboard to use all 3DEXPERIENCE
apps working with the adopted unified data
model.
